Verna Jean Narron, 63, passed away Wednesday, July 29, at the Weatherford Regional Medical Center from her lingering illness. Cremation has taken place and services are private at the Narron Ranch in Millsap.
Verna was born August 25, 1951, in Gainesville, TX, to John and Dorothy Milleriner. She married Sonny Narron and had two sons, James Aaron and Matthew Adam. Verna enjoyed writing poetry. She also enjoyed doing such crafts as leatherwork, and wood burning, making jewelry boxes and other keepsakes. Most of all, Verna will be remembered as being a ‘mother to everyone’ and she cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren plus her many friends.
Verna is survived by her husband, Sonny Narron; sons, James Aaron and Matthew Adam and wife, Felicia Narron; grandchildren, Leena and Landon Narron; and by her sister, Tena Leggett.
In addition to her parents, Verna was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Phillips. The family wishes to thank the medical staff of the ICU at the Weatherford Regional Medical Center – Thank you all…the Narrons.
