Vera Mae Deason

Vera Mae Deason, passed away peacefully at age 88, Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Vera was born August 27, 1933, in Ida, LA. to Henry Lee Barnes and Gertie Farmer Barnes.

Vera loved to travel with her husband, Devane, and they traveled from one side of the United States to the other. Vera enjoyed being outdoors, at the lake, in the mountains by a stream, or walking along the ocean shores. She loved watching all of the wildlife across the states. Vera adored her family time and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved all her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rudolph Devane Deason, and daughter, June Little.

Vera is survived by her daughter, Pennie Causey and husband Steve, son, Richard Deason and wife Natasha, grandchildren, Todd Ackerman, Zach Deason, Jacob Deason, Jessica Munden, and Jennifer Brown, great-grandchildren, Audree Ybarra, Aaron Ybarra, Samantha Munden, and Kai Brown.
