Truman Rhea Harris

Truman R. Harris, 72, of Weatherford, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at his residence.  Born April 18, 1935 in Mineral Wells, a resident of Parker County for many years.  Truman was a retired ironworker, a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ and a 55 year member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers Local 263.  Truman was preceded in death by his first wife Joye   Harris in 1990, his parents, one sister and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Vivian Harris of Weatherford; daughter, Tracy Jacoby and husband James of Bellaire; sons, Derrell Harris and wife Ramona of Weatherford, Joe W. Harris of Weatherford, Shane Harris of Weatherford, Stan Waters and wife Leslie of Albuquerque, NM and Rick Waters and wife Cindy of Clovis, NM; sister, Barbara Nichols of Aledo; brother, Bobby G. Harris of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 2nd at Hillcrest Church of Christ with Joe Harris, Sr. and Minister Ray White officiating. Interment: Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
