Tommy Raymond Dutton

Tommy Raymond Dutton, age 84, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, in Weatherford, Texas.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM., on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in the New Electra Memorial Park Cemetery in Electra, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, Weatherford, Texas.

Tommy was born on January 28, 1939, in Ringgold, Texas. His parents were Melvin O. (Bub) and Essie Fox Dutton. He and Mary Ella Erwin were married in McLean, Texas on August 10, 1962. He was a longtime resident of Granbury, Texas. He worked for many years as a cable repairman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and later for its successor, AT&T. He enjoyed living on Lake Granbury and liked to fish and hunt. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and spent a year in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; 2 brothers, Melvin, Jr. and Billy Carl (Bill) Dutton; a brother-in-law, Delbert Pittman and sister, Patsy Pittman; a sister-in-law, Pauline Pierce; and a brother-in-law, C.A. Barker.

Survivors include a son, Jonathan Dutton, a grandson, Damien Dutton, both of Granbury, Texas; 4 sisters, Sue Hale (James) of Archer City, Texas, Peggy Jean Barker of Iowa Park, Texas; Linda Stell (Don) of Wichita Falls, Texas; Rena Jo Miller of Burkburnett, Texas; a brother, Larry Dutton (Norma) of Iowa Park, Texas; a sister-in-law, Molly Martindale (Clifford) of Pampa, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
