Tilmon Ray Bonner

September 4, 1942 — August 10, 2021

Tilmon Ray Bonner was born to William Sherman Green and Eldora Babb Green on September 4, 1942, in Weatherford, Texas. He was adopted by James Thomas Bonner of Greenwood, Arkansas as a young child. Tilmon attended Travis Elementary Weatherford, TX, Greenwood Arkansas Elementary and Junior High, and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1961. He graduated from Weatherford College and received a BS degree from East Texas State University at Commerce, Texas.
Tilmon was baptized into Christ in 1959 and served as a deacon at Tin Top church of Christ and Springtown Road (now North Main) church of Christ, and as an Elder at Windmill church of Christ in Weatherford. He retired from Lockheed-Martin in 1998 after 30 years of employment. Tilmon served our country enlisting in the 49th division of the Texas National Guard and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a gifted artist, and Certified by the Texas Genealogical Society as a 5th generation Texan having descended from G. W. Glover and Martilla Bobbitt Glover who were pioneer settlers of Dallas County Texas in 1843

Tilmon married Paula Sue Hallman on Nov 3, 1962, in Weatherford. He is the Father and Father-in-Law of Renee Hubbard and her husband Gene, John Bonner and his wife Julie, and Timothy Bonner and his wife Marion. He is the Granddaddy of Randy, Joshua, Carolina Hubbard, Dallas, Tyler Grace, Lubbock Bonner, and Peyton and Brack Bonner. Tilmon was preceded in death by Randy Hubbard. He is the Great Granddaddy of Ayla Bonner, and brother to Barry Bonner of Weatheford, and step-brother to Wanda Seago of Fort Worth. He is survived by numerous, loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 10:00 am at Windmill church of Christ.
