Thomas A. Hamilton

Thomas “Tom” A. Hamilton, 81, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2019. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 until 7 P.M., on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.
Tom was born on November 3, 1937, in Graford, Texas to Gerald and Olive Hamilton. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Tom worked in Agriculture Sales during his career. He enjoyed traveling the country with his wife Betty in their motorhome. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Tom enjoyed telling and playing jokes on people and could be found every morning having coffee at the Handy Place in Weatherford. Most of all, Tom will be remembered for being a loving husband and father and was particularly devoted to his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife, Betty; his children, Tommy (Sandy) Hamilton, Toybeth (Tony) Bilbay, Kari (Dale) Brewer, and Valerie (Kevin) Ayers; his grandchildren, Adyan, Alexa, Annsly, Spencer, Kailey, and Thaddeus; and by his twin sister, Nancy (Billy) Vaughn.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Junior Hamilton and his sister, Wanda Thurman.
