Thelma Wasson

Thelma Jean Wasson, 72, passed away February 11, 2016, in Angleton, Texas. She was born the daughter of Emmett and Alice Sims Rodgers, March 16, 1942, in Weatherford. Thelma worked as a dispatcher for Dana Transport for 18 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Thelma will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Glen Wasson; daughters, Mandy and husband Bill McNutt, Kim and husband Terry Slaughter; son, Greg Wasson; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Ryan, Mason, Christina, Caleb, Joshua, Matthew, and Rochell; two great-granddaughters she raised, Karyn Wall and Alaura Price, as well as numerous other great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Ann Roden; and brother Emmitt A. Rodgers.  Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Olan Miller; granddaughter, Jocyln Miller; sister Mary Sue Martin and brother, Billy Rodgers.
