Sylvia M. Brown passed away November 12th, 2019, peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born February 11th, 1932, Sylvia Marybeth Joiner in McGregor, Texas to Isabelle and Courtney Joiner, the third of four daughters. She met the love of her life Charles Brown in 1954 and they were married April 16th, 1955, at North Side Baptist in Weatherford, Texas. In 1958 they became the proud parents of their only child, Tammera Leigh Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Courtney and Isabelle; sister, Juanita Allmon; and sister, Nell Read.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Brown; daughter, Tammera, and favorite son-in-law, David Park; granddaughter, Brittany Medders and husband, Josh; granddaughter, Sabrina Coates; and great grandchildren, Owen Coates, Isabel Coates, Eli Medders, and Jonah Medders; and Westie pup, Houston. She will be greatly missed by them all.
Services will be held at East Greenwood Cemetery Weatherford, Texas, at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
