Steven Jay Anderson, 68, of Maypearl, Texas, passed away on January 13, 2023, after a long battle with multiple illnesses. Steve was born on April 29, 1954, to John Houston Anderson and Nelda Jean (Clark) Anderson in Weatherford, Texas. After graduating from Sam Houston High School in 1972, he went on to work for Ling-Temco-Vought in Arlington until his retirement.

Steven met Nancy Sue Ihrig in high school, and they wed April 6, 1973. They had 3 children, Brandy Lillagore, Steffanie Anderson, and Barrett Anderson.

Steve was a force of nature, who loved his family BIG. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, especially his grandchildren. He was unendingly proud of Tatumn, Benjamin, William, Rose, Brody, Harper, Hunter, and Hayden, and always tried his best to support them.

Steve was predeceased by his wife, Nancy and his parents, John and Nelda Anderson. 

He is survived by his children, Brandy and JJ Lillagore, Steffanie Anderson, Barrett Anderson; his grandchildren, Benjamin and William Lillagore, Tatumn and Rose Gansert, Harper Ledbetter, Brody, Hunter, and Hayden Anderson; and brother and sister-in-law, Donny and Laura Anderson and their children, Kayla Frisinger and Houston Anderson; and father-in-law, Tommy Ihrig.

Visitation will be Monday, January 16, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home in Weatherford, Texas. There will be a graveside service immediately following at 11:00 a.m., at Clark Cemetery, 1394 Friendship Road, Weatherford, Texas.
