Steve Edward Haley

Steve Edward Haley, 64, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, 62, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Burial will be private.

Steve was born January 29, 1957, in Weatherford, Texas to Jesse and Dorotha Haley. On October 4, 2003, Steve married Terry King. He was a lifelong resident of Parker County. Steve owned and operated his own carpentry business for many years. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Steve was a collector of “many things” in addition to enjoying dancing and bowling. Most of all, Steve cherished time spent with his family – particularly taking his grandchildren camping.

Steve is survived by his wife, Terry; his children, Kristen (James) Moore, Lacy (Jason) Omi, Derrick (Lacey) Haley, Heather King, and Haley (Jack Baker) King; by his beloved grandchildren, Kylie, Ava, Haley, Isabella, Coleton, Aubrey, Reagan, Josalin, Hudson, Rain, and Chloe; and by his brothers, Mike and David Haley.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
