Sondra Anne Nelms, 83, of Weatherford passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at her residence. She was born August 23, 1936, in Williamsport, Indiana to Owen S. and Dorothy Tignor Howard. Sondra was a 1958, graduate of Northwest School of Nursing in Amarillo and a 1961 graduate of University of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph J. Nelms; her parents; and her sister, Cherie Kay Dixon.
Sondra is survived by her daughters, Janyce Elaine Holmosly and D'Anne Nelms; son, Howard Joseph Nelms; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. "I am alive and well, just changed address to be with Joe. He went ahead to get it ready."
