Shirley Ann Nesbit Mooney passed away peacefully at a local nursing home in Weatherford on Saturday, January 4, 2014. Shirley was born in Knox City, Texas, on April 23, 1939, to Tom and Hazel Nesbit. She attended school in Weatherford. She was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Rock of Helps Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gary Mooney.
Survivors include her sons, Kelly Foster, Mark Childers, Six Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren, sister, Linda Schindler of Huntsville, Texas, numerous nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Rock of Helps Church on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Brother Sonny Buckingham will be officiating.
