Sherry Ann Clark

Sherry Ann Clark, 76 of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021.

One of nine children, she was born, September 8, 1944 in Weatherford, Texas. She was a daughter to the late Paul and Annie May Melson and preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Alan Clark; brothers and sisters: Richard Wiggs, Elizabeth (Jimmie) Dollar, Jean Feemster Andrews, Marx Wiggs, Alton Wiggs, Pauline Saul and Paul Melson Jr.

She is survived by her children: John Samuel Hayes III, Shawna Renee Buckhanon, and Shelly Allain, and by her sister, Faye Edwards. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sherry attended Weatherford High School, played the French Horn and was head Majorette in the marching band. In her early adult years, she worked dairy cows and was a barrel racer, later becoming an administrator in Real Estate until her retirement. She was a lover of all living creatures, especially her fur babies, nature, and an ardent movie buff.

Her family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice for their tender care and kindness during her last days.

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of this beautiful lady, but we rejoice in knowing she is now in her heavenly home with our dear Lord Jesus and all of those she loved who have gone before her.

Funeral arrangements facilitated by Galbraith Pickard-Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Frontage Road, in Willow Park, with visitation Tuesday evening, February 2, 2021, from 6 until 8 P.M. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 at 2:00 at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford.
