Shawn Lewis Samuel Fundis

Shawn Lewis Samuel Fundis, 32, passed unexpectedly from this life on Thursday, May 11, 2023. He was born December 13, 1990, in Fort Worth, Texas to Christine Fundis Franklin. Shawn had an immense passion for his family and friends, and enjoyed celebrating life with them, from birthday parties to outings at the lake to trips to a state park. He will be remembered for his caring nature, loyal friendship, and unbreakable spirit. Shawn was dearly loved; his contagious smile and his laugh, along with his zest for life were an encouragement to those around him. Among his many interests were his love for music, movies, reading, and games. Shawn loved trips to the mountains to see the majesty of the water falls and rivers.

Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Angel Fundis, and uncles, Jack Fundis, Jimmy Fundis, and Billy Fundis.

Shawn is survived by his mother, Christine; brothers, Jesse, Caleb, and Matthew; sister, Cheyenne; nieces, Abby and Anna; nephew, Sammy; aunts, Ruthie, Debbie, Sarah, and Rachel; uncle, Joshua; and many loving family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
