Scott Lloyd Evans

Scott Lloyd Evans, 52, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his home in Weatherford.
Scott was born July 19, 1963 in Decatur, Illinois.  He was one of two sons born to Richard and Dolores Evans.  Scott worked for many years as a Diesel Truck Mechanic.  He enjoyed going to NASCAR races with his family.  Scott also enjoyed playing golf and downhill skiing.  Most of all, Scott cherished time spent with his family who loved him dearly.
Scott is survived by his parents, Richard and Dolores Evans of Weatherford; brother, David (Cathy) Evans of Humble, Texas;  nieces, Heather Driskell, Nicole Evans and Carrie Evans; and by his nephew, Jacob Evans. 
 

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00, on Saturday, October 10, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford with Pastor Kevin Cook officiating. 
Burial will be private at a later date.  
Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 until the time of the service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
