Rudolph Joseph Peschel

  Rudolph Joseph Peschel, 84, of Weatherford, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 in Weatherford, Texas. Rudolph was born on December 23, 1921, in Kerrville, Texas, where he was raised and became a foreman ranch hand for the Shriner and Naylor Ranches. He spent the last 20 years living in Weatherford enjoying gardening, building things, doing anything to stay busy, and always having a smile on his face. 

  Survivors: daughter, Claudia McWhorter and loving partner, William Bass of Weatherford; sisters, Dollie Strickland of Kerrville and Annie Mosty of Ingram; brothers, Joe Peschel of Kerrville and Bodo Peschel of Kerrville; grandchildren, Bobby Smith, Lori Smith, Lane McWhorter, and Kelly Coman; great granchildren, Evelyn, Ashley, Hope, Brittany, and Heaven, friend and ex wife, Lois Peschel of Weatherford. 

  Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2006, in Brown Cemetery, in Kerrville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, Sunday, at Grimes Funeral Home, in Kerrville.
