Ruby Dorothy Howell

Ruby Dorothy Howell, 81, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at her residence. She was born on October 19, 1928 in Pettit, Texas to Roy and Daisy Warren.   Ruby was a homemaker and a member of Oakridge Baptist Church.  She had a love for music that she shared with her family, she played the piano since she was 12 and was the pianist at Oakridge Baptist Church for 18 years. Ruby was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Daisy Warren, brothers, Loyce, Lewis, O’Dell, Bobby and Max, sisters, Velita, Allene and Mattie Mae, granddaughter, Heather and great grandchild, Ian.
 
Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Charles Howell of Weatherford, daughters, Darla Stookey of Tulsa, OK, Risa Hardin and husband Dwight of Bridgeport and April Hazlewood of Fort Worth, sons, Dennis Howell and wife Lynette of Amarillo, Kevin Howell and wife Karla of White Deer, Kent Howell and wife Charlotte of Dallas, brothers, Weldon and Lloyd Warren of Orlando, sister Belva Bates of Missouri, Twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren
 
Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation 6-8 pm in the Chapel of Galbreaith Pickard. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
