Roy Lynn Ferris

Roy Lynn Ferris, 78 years old, died on December 10, 2020, at home in Weatherford, TX. A memorial service will be held at Northside Baptist Church in Weatherford, where he was a member since 2008. The service will be on Thursday at North Side Baptist Church at 2pm with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall.

Roy was born on October 1, 1942, in Melvin, TX to Elberta & Cleo Ferris and was the youngest child of eight. He owned and operated Roy's Barber Shop in Azle, TX for thirty plus years. He was known for his beautiful smile and hearty laugh and was a sweet soul.

Roy was survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Judy, son Brad & husband Bryan, daughter Charlotte Paterson, daughter Darla Darby & husband Mike, two granddaughters Jessica Perry and Kellus Eudy & husband Weston, and two great granddaughters Ava and Arden Perry, one brother, Billy Joe, and many nieces and nephews.
