Rosa Maria Moreno

Rosa Maria Moreno, 75, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on Sunday afternoon, on November 11, in Fort Worth. A Wake service celebrating her life will be held Tuesday afternoon, November 13, from 3 until 5, at the Galbreath-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. The Rosary will be recited at 5 P.M. Burial will be private.
Rosa was born on August 2, 1943 in Alamo, Texas to Carman and Conception Martinez. Rosa will be remembered for being a very giving and compassionate woman who was willing to open her home to anyone. Most of all, Rosa will be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
Rosa is survived by her husband, Ramon; her children, Fernando Cantu, Mary Ann Taylor, Evelyn Cantu, and Oscar Luna, Jr; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and by her 5 sisters, Frances Ayala, Oralia Castillo, Geneva Mares, Lucia Gonzales, Pearl Gonzales.
In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Ann Martinez and by one sister and three brothers.
