Ronnie Allen Fisher

October 21, 1949 — October 23, 2020

Ronnie Allen Fisher passed Friday morning October 23, from Covid 19. Ronnie was born October 21, 1949 in Weatherford to Vernon (Jiggs) and Faye DeBusk Fisher. He was an avid sports fan, always watching the Ranger’s or Cowboy’s game. Ronnie loved takeout food, talking on the phone, going shopping, and taking your picture. Looking back, we should have bought stock in the Polaroid company. Ronnie loved everyone, he never let his disability stop him from showing everyone he met just how he felt towards them. He was the unofficial greeter and Mayor of the home where he lived, even having a name badge to prove it. If you knew Ronnie, then you have been greeted by his famous “how you today” phrase. He was a champ at giving hugs and had one for everyone he met. No one could put away a cheeseburger or “down” a Coke as well as Ronnie, he enjoyed every bite of it.

Ronnie is survived by his family, Larry Fisher, Mike Fisher, Ollie and Rick Moore, Tim Fisher, Deborah and Brian Sarslow, as well as host of other relatives and friends.
