Ronald "Ronny" Dean Yeary

Ronald Dean Yeary, 69, of Weatherford passed away on February 24, 2020. Ronny (Pops) began his life on February 18, 1951, in Weatherford and remained a lifelong resident of Parker County. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Toye and Ethel Wade along with parents Johnie and Noreen Yeary. 

He will be missed by an extensive family beginning with his wife Becky Yeary and children Timmy and Tammy, Toye and Tonya, Toby and LeighAnn, Ryan Curtis, and Chloe. Along with a long list of grandkids that loved their Pops: Teagan, Tatum, Trista, TyAnn, Tallon, Sembree, and Will. He is also survived by two siblings Kathie Cherry of Tolar, Kenny and Stacie Yeary of Weatherford, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Ronny was the very definition of hard work and determination; his work ethic was second to none. One of his favorite sayings was “your burning daylight.” He thought if you were only 30 minutes early to anything, you were late. There are always three ways to do things, the right way, the wrong way, and what he felt exceeded the right way, being the Ronny way. He may have been a man of few words but was never short of teaching life lessons through sweat and hard work. He continually sowed seeds into the lives of those around him.

There were so many things that he loved about life, but the one thing that always brought out Ronny’s smirky, unique grin, and laugh was silently watching his kids and grandkids succeed in life. He may not openly applaud you, but you can be assured he would brag about your success to everyone he encountered. We are thankful for so many that have joined us in celebrating his life and the accomplishments he has had.

Please join us for a visitation from 6-8pm, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Ronny’s life will be held at 10am, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main St., Weatherford, Texas 76086.
