Ronald (Ronnie) James Roberts

Ronald “Ronnie” James Roberts, Sr., 69, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the Weatherford Regional Medical Center due to respiratory failure.
A Memorial Gathering celebrating his life will be held Saturday, August 22, from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.
Ronnie was born September 18, 1945 in Fort Worth.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Marie Seyster and by his step-father, Taz Walton; and by his son, Kelly Wayne Jones.  Ronnie is survived  by his children, Hazel Roberts, Lacy Henry, and Ronald (Bubba) James Roberts, Jr. and Carrie Frost; his brother, Gary Roberts; 9 grandchildren, Ashlyn, Naudia, Jaden, Jristin, Cadence, Colt, Cash, Daniel, and Kenzie; and by his ‘grand-puppy’, Liberty.   Ronnie proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1963 until he was honorably discharged in 1966.  Ronnie was an electrician by trade and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.   “The Big one finally got away!”
