Robert Preston Henry

March 29, 1930 — January 5, 2016

Robert Preston Henry, 85, died Jan. 5, 2016, in Arizona after a long battle with cancer. 
Henry was an interior designer in Dallas and Weatherford, with a career that spanned 60 years. A life member of the American Society of Interior Designers, he actively promoted the industry and served as president of the Texas Chapter from 1993-94, also holding many other chapter offices. He was a committed Christian, serving as an elder of the South Main Church of Christ in Weatherford and active in mission work for the Skillman Church of Christ in Dallas. 
He is survived by Alice, his wife of 55 years; two daughters, Aimee Short and husband, Dan, Catherine Ann Piepenbrink and husband, Eric; four grandchildren, Trevor and Elise Short, Lily and Ella Piepenbrink; a sister, RuthAnn Cubstead and husband, Lane; and niece, Cathy Drennan and husband, Cohn. 


A memorial is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at the South Main Church of Christ in Weatherford.
