Robert Elwyn Sloan

Robert Elwyn Sloan, 67, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, January 29, 2021, at his home.

A graveside committal service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at the Peaster Cemetery in Peaster, Texas off McClendon Road.

Robert was born August 24, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama to Bobby and Mary Sloan. Robert will be remembered as a ‘quiet man’ who enjoyed spending time with this family and particularly attending his grandson’s baseball games.

Robert is survived by his sons, Dalton, Daniel (Kevyn) and Drew (Brittany) Sloan; numerous grandchildren; his brothers, Richard and Ronnie Sloan; by his step-sisters, Joyce and Patricia; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sawyer.
