Rita Yvonne Manning

Rita Yvonne Manning, 69 passed away peacefully on Thursday October 25th 2018 in Fort Worth Texas.
Funeral service: 11a.m., Friday November 2, 2018 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in East Greenwood Cemetery.
Rita was born December 25th 1948 in Weatherford, Texas to Hazel Wade & Herbert Cross. She worked at Wal-Mart Inc & retired after 25 years of service. Rita was a lifelong resident of Weatherford, a die-hard Cowboy fan who enjoyed cooking for her family, reading, and listening to music. She had a passion for life and savored each moment, especially the times, as a beloved grandmother, she doted on her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Hazel Allen. Rita is survived by her father Herbert Cross; brothers, John Allen and Leslie Allen; sisters, Linda Kinion and Shari Rainey; children, Rhonda Cross, Deirdre Greer, Alonzo Carlton, Antonio Jones and Nicholas Manning; as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
