Rennie Joe Berry  died peacefully in his home on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Weatherford, TX at the age of 67.
Rennie is survived by his wife Tina Berry of the home; one sister Patsy Crittenden; two sons Ryan Berry and Jacob Golden; three daughters Shama Berry, Julie Grohn and Jessica Kemp;  three  grandsons and seven granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Marie Berry of Oklahoma City, OK.
Rennie was born on December 23, 1947 in Pahuska, OK. He graduated from Spearman High School in Spearman, TX and received his undergraduate degree from Friends University in Wichita, KS. He did extensive graduate study in psychology and religion at Midwestern Baptist Seminary in Kansas City, KS with emphasis on ministry. He was Senior pastor at churches in Mulvane and Topeka, KS before expanding his ministry as Evangelism Director for the Baptist General Convention of Kansas/Nebraska. Prior to his retirement Rennie was Administrator for the Alternative School of the Santa Fe South (Charter) Schools in Oklahoma City, OK. Rennie was deeply committed to his Lord Jesus Christ and sharing that love at every opportunity.


A Memorial Celebration is scheduled for 10:30AM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Southpark Baptist Church, 2900 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK.  Pastor Emeritus Leon Wilson will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rennie’s life.
