Regenia Arlene Pettigrew

Regenia Arlene (Neal) Pettigrew, 66, passed from this life on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Regenia was born July 10, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert Charles Neal and Alice Juanita (Graves) Neal. She worked for Weatherford ISD at Curtis Elementary. Regenia was devoted to her position serving the communities' children. She especially loved her grandson, Coty McNiel, and greatly enjoyed spending time with him. Regenia also enjoyed her hobbies of crafting and ceramics, and had a love for animals. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. This world lost a beautiful soul, and the heavens above gained another glorious angel.

Regenia was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Neal.

Regenia is survived by her daughter, Shannon Murphy (Kevin); son, Drue Pettigrew; grandson, Coty McNiel; mother, Juanita Neal; and uncle, Leo Graves (Dorothy).

A graveside ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, at Greenwood Community Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas 76088.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
