Raymond L. Hamlin, age 90, of Fort Worth, died Thursday evening, September 20, 2012. He was born May 31, 1922, in Russellville, Arkansas, a resident of Fort Worth for several years. Mr. Hamlin was a member of the Baptist Church, an avid dancer, and he loved his family. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corp during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hamlin; parents, James and Hattie Hamlin; brothers, Roy Hamlin, Billy Hamlin, and Fred Hamlin; and a sister, Jewel Barger.
Survivors:
Daughter – Sammie Franks and husband, Jerry of Benbrook
Son – Mark Hamlin and wife, Kathy of Weatherford
Brother – Leon Hamlin of Oklahoma City
Three Grandchildren – Gerald Franks, Charley Hamlin, and J. P. Hamlin
Great Granddaughter – Clara Hamlin
numerous nieces and nephews
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 23, 2012, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel .
Graveside and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2012, in Quinton Cemetery, Quinton, Oklahoma.
