Randall "Jay" Bickers

Randall “Jay” Bickers, 59, devoted father, of Weatherford, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 10 A.M., on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Silverado Cowboy Church, 4000 W. IH-20, Weatherford, Texas 76088. Visitation will begin at 9:30 prior to the service at 10:00. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Brock.

Jay was born on February 28, 1962, in Austin, Texas to Thomas and Nancy Bickers. He graduated from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine and specialized in equine surgery, acupuncture, and chiropractics. Jay was a worship leader at Silverado Cowboy Church. He enjoyed cowboy music and outside activities including hiking and horseback riding. Most of all, Jay cherished spending time with his sons.

Jay is survived by his sons, Johnny and Chevvy Bickers; his god-son, Jacob Allen; his wife, Rhonda Bickers; his father, Thomas Eugene Bickers, Sr; his siblings, Thomas Eugene Bickers, Jr., and Kenneth Norman Bickers; and by his sister, Lisa Warren and by 8 nephews and 7 nieces. He cared deeply for his family and will be missed greatly.

Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Jean Bickers in 2018.
