Phillip Eugene Harrell

August 20, 1951 — March 10, 2016

Phillip Eugene Harrell, 64, went to be with the Lord on Thursday March 10, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born August 20, 1951 in Aledo to the late R.C and Essie Harrell. A lifelong resident of Parker County, Phillip worked in several different professions, making friends everywhere he went, never meeting a stranger.    Phillip was a longtime friend of the Peaster FFA. He raised money each year to help fund scholarships, purchase belt buckles and finance stock show animals for many Peaster’s young people.  He also donated numerous hours to the organization and was recognized many years ago for his effort by being made an honorary member.  Beginning in 2010, he appeared as Cowboy Santa all across the area at stores, churches, community events and parades. His greatest love and legacy was his family. Phillip is survived by his wife Bridgett; daughters, Misty Jennings and husband Wesley of Poolville, Courtney Seymour and husband Jake of Lipan; son Colby Harrell of Peaster; brother, Tony Harrell of Weatherford; sister, Brenda Handley of Glen Rose; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Johnnie and Freddie.
