  Pauline Ashcraft, 91, of Weatherford, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 in a local nursing facility. Born April 27, 1918 in Summerfield, Texas, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Pauline was a retired minister for the Church of God and a faithful member of Center Point Church of God. She enjoyed ceramics, quilting, and raising her great grandchildren. Pauline never lost her desire to preach, she loved praying for people and mostly talking about God. 

  Her father and step-mother, Taylor and Effie Cook, precede her in death, along with her husband of 58 years, Rev. R.D. Ashcraft; daughter, Bobbie Mills; and her infant children, R.D. Ashcraft, Jr. and Yomaline Ashcraft. 

  Pauline is survived by her son, Jimmy Ashcraft of Weatherford; daughter-in-law, Connie Henry of Ranger; son-in-law, Grady Mills of Weatherford; brothers, Charles Cook of Arp and James Cook of Overton; five grandchildren, Delene and Jim Smith, Darlene and Galen Cook, Diana Mills, Tammy Ashcraft, and Tanya and Brad Burrows; and eight great grandchildren, Rev. Casey Cook, Joshua Arnett, Truistan Arnett, Bryce Arnett, Bethany Smith, Jake Holdman, Bailey Simmons, and Holden Burrows.

  Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009, in the Church of God Campground Tabernacle. Interment: East Greenwood. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
