Paul Brantley

Paul Brantley passed away at home Sunday March 30, 2014.  Born May 13, 1949 in Waurika OK to Paul F. and Juanita Brantley; Paul was one of two children.  Paul moved to Weatherford TX in 1966 where he met Nancy Burns at Jacks Café.  They married in July of 1967 and began their family of three children.  Paul was a hard working man; he had several business ventures in his life.  He worked in Ice Houses in both Oklahoma and Texas.  He owned a dump truck business in Weatherford.  He spent many years working for Ingram Concrete.  His last career before retiring from public work was at NAPA.  Paul was a ‘top notch’ mechanic and car enthusiast.  He also enjoyed visiting with friends and family and spent lots of time stacking wood. 
Paul leaves behind his wife of almost 47 years Nancy; son Monte Brantley, daughters Amber Cox and Julie Brantley and her husband Michael Casey; grandchildren Blain, Logan, Elisa, Chance and Brittany; great grandchildren Kinsley and Avery; brother Carl Brantley and his wife Joy.  Paul was preceded in death by his parents Paul F. and Juanita Brantley.
A memorial service will be Saturday April 5, 2014 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718
