Patsy Pauline Hammonds

  Patsy Pauline Hammonds, 67, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 1, 1942, in Lipan, to George and Dottie Light. Patsy worked in the aerospace industry as an assembly technician for Electra, then Mepco Sentra Labs and later S-Tec in Mineral Wells. She was a member of the Church of Christ, enjoyed reading and fishing. Patsy loved and took great pride in mowing her lawn, making it a great place for her to play with her cats and dogs. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sidney Cleo Hammonds; sister, Averial Harris; and a brother, Bobby George Light. 

  Patsy is survived by her son, Christopher Noal Light and wife, Frances Roseann of Weatherford; sister, Diane Ellis and husband, Wayne of Poolville; three grandchildren, Crystal Lea Davidson, Cynthia Ann Davidson, and Clinton Paul Hamm; two great grandchildren, Delilah Lea DeLaCruz and Jennifer Ann DeLaCruz; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

  A family memorial service and interment will be scheduled at a later date.
