Pablo Escobedo

Pablo Escobedo, 92, passed from this life on Monday, January 2, 2023. Pablo was born January 25, 1930, in Canutillo, Texas, to Francisco Escobedo and Catalina (Lopez) Escobedo. He worked as an Aircraft Painter, painting F-16 Thunderbirds for Lockheed. Pablo married Margarita Rosas and they had a beautiful life together for 72 years. He was the most lovable husband. Pablo was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and participated in the choir and played on the softball team. Pablo was creative and could make anything out of nothing, especially welding family projects.

Pablo is survived by his adoring wife, Maggie Escobedo; children, Angelina Melott (Garry) of Rockport, TX, Paul Escobedo (Mary) of Granbury, TX, Diana Rauch (Nick) of South Bend, IN, Rudy Escobedo (Rachel) of Fort Worth, TX, and Jaime Escobedo (Tammy) of Heath, TX; and sibling, Socorro Rodriguez of Mexico; grandchildren; Natalie McClure (Steven) of South Bend, IN, Gabriel Rauch (Emily) of South Bend, IN, Shawn Urias of Fort Worth, TX, Dylan Leverett (Samantha “Sami”) of Evans Mills, NY, Hayden Leverett (Emily) of Cross Roads, TX, Don Paul Escobedo and Ashton Escobedo of Prosper, TX; great-grandchildren; Kieran and Mina McClure, Joseph Rauch, Raven and Shawn, Jr. Urias, Emmett and Everly Leverett, and Judah Leverett.

Pablo was preceded in death by his daughter, Angelica Escobedo; and grandson, Guy Alexander.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2023, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Rd, Weatherford, Texas, 76086.

The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
