P.J. Fecht

PJ Fecht of Weatherford, Texas, a kind, loving, and wonderful soul, has gone to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 14, 2022. PJ and her twin sister, Patricia, were born in Waterloo, Iowa to parents, Chuck and Connie Euchner on June 9, 1949.

PJ married Ron Fecht on August 12, 1967, and they have devoted themselves to one another for the past 55 years. PJ and Ron made their home in Waterloo, Iowa, Derby, Kansas, and Weatherford, Texas. PJ enjoyed a career as an Executive Secretary at Beach Aircraft for 20 years.

PJ had an aura of sunshine around her that lit up life wherever she was. She had a kind, giving, and loving heart. Her joy in life was spending time with and doing things for her husband, kids, grandkids, church family, friends, and neighbors. She was loved by and loved many. PJ enjoyed crocheting hats for her Happy Hats ministry club and spending time with her ladies’ church groups at North Baptist Church of Weatherford, Texas, where she was a member.

PJ was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, family member, and friend to many. PJ is survived by her husband, Ron Fecht; daughter, Amy Lee Fecht; son, Todd Fecht and wife; grandsons, Joshua, Zachariah, and Jacob; brother, Rickie Jay (Delores-Dee) Euchner of Waterloo, Iowa; sister, Martha Alden of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her mother, Constance (Connie) Euchner on June 14, 2017; father, Charles (Chuck) R. Euchner on November 19, 2014; twin sister, Patricia J. Kopf on October 24, 2014; and brother, Michael G. Euchner on January 19, 1969.

A funeral service will be Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street Weatherford, Texas 76086, followed by a graveside service at Annetta Cemetery, 2667 W. FM 5, Annetta, Texas 76008.
