Orland Jack Murphy

Orland Jack Murphy, 94, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019.

Born on October 27, 1925, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, he was the son of Elmer Leo Murphy and Violet Ella Murphy. He was the widower of Neva Joyce Murphy and shared 57 years together. 

He is survived by his son, Leo Jack Murphy of Weatherford, Texas; two daughters, Neva Bernice Clark and husband, Michael Dwayne Clark of Brock, Texas, and Toni LeeAnn Bell of Odessa, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Orland enjoyed working with electronics and did make this his career. In his later years, he enjoyed spoiling his pets. He was drafted into the Army in 1954, where he served his country while his children were very young. He loved the Lord and spread that love by never failing to let others know he loved them when he seen them.

The graveside service will be held on November 13, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at the Johnson Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas. The viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m., until the time for the service at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
