Nora Carter

  Nora Elaine Carter, of Weatherford, passed away February 28, 2016, at a local nursing home. She was born July 16, 1959, the daughter of James Alvin and Anita Gilbert Carter, in Weatherford. Nora graduated from Brock High School in 1977. She was a cook at Brock Café for many years. 

  Nora was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeannie Carter; and her brothers, Mike and Bob Carter. 

  Survivors include sisters, Lois Wright and husband, David, Sandra Barham and husband, Stanley; brothers, Jeff Carter and wife, Sheila, Tim Carter and wife, Mary; sister-in-law, Brenda Carter; special great-nieces, Malia and Sharon; as well as other special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Weatherford Animal Shelter or the Kidney Foundation.

  Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1
  Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2
  Burial: Johnson Cemetery, Dennis, Texas
