Neva June Hodge

   Neva June Hodge, age 87, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 10, 2018. Neva was born January 27, 1931, in Benton, Illinois, to Hersel Cantrell and Lula Holliday Cantrell. She retired from General Foods as a quality control manager. Neva was a member of The Church of Nazarene. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and gardening. Neva was an amazing pianist and artist.

  Neva is survived by her daughters, Trudy Lambert and husband, Mike, Denise Peterson and her husband, Ron; grandchildren, Dawn Hitt, Michael P. Lambert, Matthew Rosenberg, Natalie Rosenberg; great-grandchildren, Ashlee Hinrichs, Kaycee Hitt, Peyton Lambert, Alysia Rosenberg, Parker Rosenberg, Presley Rosenberg, Kooper Hinrichs and Elijah Blu Hitt; brother-in-law, Arthur Neal; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Cantrell.

  Neva was preceded in death by her parents, Hersel Cantrell and Lula Holliday Cantrell; husbands, Paul Hodge who she spent over 30 wonderful years with and William Owensby for 13 glorious years; sister, Faye Neal; and brother, Dean Cantrell.

  Memorial Service 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel.
