Nella Murl Chandler

God called Murl home in the early morning of February 26, 2012 in her 92nd year. She loved the Lord and wanted to go home, with her children by her bed as she passed.  She was a retired nurse and was a member of the North Side Baptist Church for many years, please consider giving a gift to North Side Baptist Church Building Fund.  Murl was ready to see family and friends who had gone on before her, a son and his wife, Sonny and Billie Jean Johnson.  The family would like to thank Solaris Hospice for their loving care.Those left to cherish her memories are Shari and Harry Scoggin, Linda and Marx Wiggs, Mike and Darbi Johnson.  She has five Grandchildren, Pam and Gary Gruben, Phil and Allison Vandagriff, Scott and Amelia Johnson, Matt Johnson and Ryan Johnson, eight great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.. Psalm 119:34.

Funeral service: 10 AM, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
