Nelia Grah Travis

Nelia Grah Travis, 74 of Weatherford, passed away at her home on Monday July 21,   2008. One of 13 children, she was born February 10, 1934 in Moulton, Alabama to   William and Myrtle Owen. Nelia was a resident of Parker County and a member of the   Bethesda Methodist Church. Preceded in death by 10 siblings, parents, and Jimmie   Travis. She was feared by few, loved by more, respected by all. Nelia is survived by her   faith and the love of  her family. Survivors include Sister; Anne Highfield of Chama,   New Mexico, Brother; George Owen of Detroit, Michigan, Daughter; Telese Gray of Cross Roads, TX, Son; Kyle Travis of Weatherford, TX and Two grandchildren, Brooke and Derek Gray. Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Athens Memory Gardens in Athens, Alabama. The will be a visitation from 6-8pm on Thursday July 24, 2008 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
