Naoma Christine Marx

  Naoma Christine Marx (Grandma Tina, Nea), 67 years of age, went to be with our Lord Jesus on Thursday, March 31, 2011.

  Grandma Tina was a resident of Weatherford, Texas. She was born in Millsap, Texas, the youngest daughter of James and Gertie Smith. In a family of 12 she stood out among the crowd, she brought life and joy to all. 

  She was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Cecil, David, AJ, Jesse, and Daniel; and sisters, Lucille and Lilly. 

  Surviving siblings include Tommy and Delores Smith, Raymond and Jeanna Smith, Mary and Ronnie Griess, Doris and Howard Elliot, Frances Smith, Margie Smith, and Sharon Smith.

  She married at the age of 15 to Dennis Lee Hughes who has also gone to meet our Lord Jesus. Together they gave birth to Sandra who lives in Weatherford, Texas, with her husband, Timothy (Buster) Robinson; step daughter, Christine Hughes; and Kristopher Lederer. 

  She was blessed with the following grandchildren, Buster Bill Robinson, Truman and Diamond Robinson, Rockey and Marilyn Robinson, Jillian Fox, and Laura Mahan; great grandchildren, the loves of her life, Nickalie Robinson, Lyrick Robinson, Ralston Robinson, Rachel Mahan, Leah Mahan, and Shana Mahan; four great great-grandchildren, Parker, Emma, Elijah, and Alisha.

  She was retired from Brentwood Clinic South in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a fisherman like her daddy, a homemaker like her mama and a friend to all, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed.

  Viewing: Friday, April 8, 2011, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home. Services will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home in Weatherford, Texas, on Saturday April 9, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.
