Mina Faye Bruner

Mina Faye Bruner, 72, of Weatherford passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her residence. 

Graveside service: 10am, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the 20th Century Club or any other organization close to Mina’s heart. 

Mina was born August 31, 1947 in Beaumont, Texas to Joe and Elmina "Mike" Deason McClendon. She graduated Floydada High School in 1960 and West Texas State University in 1969. Mina started teaching at Mineral Wells ISD in 1979 and retired in 2012. She was very active in many community groups and clubs. She was a member of The Red Hat Society, Mexican Train Group, Women and Newcomers Club, The Band Babes, Retired Teachers Association in Mineral Wells, Weatherford Garden Club, and she was the incoming president for the 20th Century Club. 

Mina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold “Dean” Bruner and niece Susan. 

She is survived by her nephew, Roger Culland of Tyler; cousins, Becky, Phil, Johnny, Judy and Janet.
