Milton Graves

Milton Lee Graves, 67, of Weatherford, passed away on Sunday morning, November 18, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, November 20, from 6 until 8, at the Galbreath-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
Milton was born on January 12, 1951, in Weatherford to Marvin and Maudie Graves. He proudly enlisted and served his country in Vietnam from 1969 until 1971. Milton married the ‘love-of-his life’, Donna Proffitt on January 17, 1981. He enjoyed working on antique cars and trucks in his shop and was known for his meticulous work. He also enjoyed outdoors activities including hunting and fishing. Most of all, Milton will be remembered for his love and devotion toward his family and for the children of the family who brought him great joy.
Milton is survived by his wife, Donna; his nieces and nephews, Scott Graves, Natalie Jackson, Brooke Birdsong, Rodney Clinkscale, Micah Gonzalez, Crystal Proffitt, Kayla Brewer, Bobbie Jo Maxwell, and Christina Jackson; and by his sisters, Jackie Beauvais and Pat Sullivan; and by his brothers, Marvin Leon Graves, Dale Richardson and Roger Richardson.
In addition to his parents, Milton was preceded in death by his infant brother, Randy Wayne Graves and by his nephew, Randy Clinkscale.
