Mildred Ruth

Mildred Ruth, age 82, of Weatherford, died early Friday morning, January 4, 2008, She went home to her Lord and Savior with her family by her side.   Born April 17, 1925 in Hood County, Texas, a resident of Weatherford and Parker County for many years.  Mrs. Ruth was a homemaker and had attended the Tin Top Church of Christ for 20 years, her membership was with Spring Creek Baptist Church.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ruth in 1991. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Barbara Smith, husband Macon of North Richland Hills, Wanda Berry and husband, Jim of Weatherford, Margie Bitters and husband, Charles of Mineral Wells and Doris Goen and husband, Buddy of Weatherford; ten grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, January 7, 2008 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Minister Steve Rothrock officiating.   Interment in Bethel Cemetery.   Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the funeral home.
