Mildred Marie Hudgens

Mildred Marie Hudgens, 66, of Weatherford died Saturday December 9, 2006 in a Fort Worth hospital. Born February 17, 1940 in Rockwell City, Iowa she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Mildred was a homemaker, a member of Presbyterian Church and the Newcomers Club of Weatherford. She was an extremely devoted Wife and Mother, raised three sons, and she enjoyed making crafts with her grandchildren. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ruth Santee; a brother Bobby Lynn Santee and a foster sister Donna Pautsch. She is survived by her Husband of 47 years, John R. Hudgens, Sr. of Weatherford; sons, John R. Hudgens, Jr. and wife Leslie of Hockley, Scott Hudgens and wife Beverly of Shallowater and Gary Hudgens and wife Alicia of Leander; sisters, Ellen Santee of Rockwell City, Iowa, Judy Weber of Storm Lake, Iowa, Marsha Rayley of Missouri and Vicki McClintock of Pocahontas, Iowa; brothers, Richard Santee of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and David Santee of Norfolk, Nebraska and 10 Grandchildren.    Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2006 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment at 2:00 PM in the DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Tuesday in the funeral home. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
