Melody Gale Roberson

Melody Gale Roberson, age 75, left this earth for her Heavenly Home on Sunday, September 26, 2021, in Fort Worth, TX. She was born on June 30, 1946, to Gayle Earl Lawrence and Dora Marie (Wilbur) Lawrence in San Diego, CA.

Melody was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Weatherford, TX. She had an enduring faith in her Lord Jesus Christ and lived her life fully for him. She lived her dream of being a homemaker. She was an incredible seamstress and excellent cook. She will be affectionately remembered for her love of family. She was always a quiet personality and enjoyed usually being in the background listening in on laughter and joy.

In addition to her parents, Gayle Earl and Dora Marie Lawrence, she is preceded in death by brothers, Jon Lawrence and Scott Lawrence, and granddaughter, Candi Link.

Left to cherish her memory is her steadfast husband of 53 years, Leo Roberson of Willow Park, TX; son, Matt Roberson of Mt. Vernon, MO; daughter, Dorothy Roberson of Mt. Vernon, MO; daughters and sons-in-law, Liz (Jeff) Woods of Willow Park, TX; Vicky (Tom) Boice of Highlandville, MO; sisters, Melinda Diu of IL and Marlyssa Neal of NM; brothers, Larry Lawrence of AZ and Daniel Lawrence of CA; as well as grandchildren: Angela Fusilier, Brian (Raini) Fusilier, Nathaniel (Christina) Link, Jordan Woods, Cinnamon Robbins-Roberson, Kate Woods, Kent (Kaitlan) Robbins, Logan Roberson, and Kyle Roberson; and 9 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Summit Cemetery, 16333 CR 2100, Mt. Vernon, MO 65712.
