Melba Fern Bradley

  Melba Fern Bradley, 86, passed at home in Willow Park surrounded by family and friends on March 16, 2010. Melba was born in Munday, Texas, and moved to Weatherford in 1942 where she raised her family and made many friends. Most recently, she worked as receptionist at Bradley Insurance Agency for her son, Jimmy Bradley.  

  She is also survived by her daughter, Betty Jane Carney and her spouse, Don Carney, both of Weatherford; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and close friend, Silky.  

  She was predeceased by her youngest daughter, Sammie Gay Bradley.  

  Everyone who knew Melba will miss her one of a kind, wild and free spirit.  

  Visitation:  Friday, March 19, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the home of Jimmy Bradley, 840 Castlemount, Willow Park, Texas.
