Mattie Jo Jones

Mattie Jo Jones, 86, of Weatherford formerly of Springtown passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 in a nursing facility. Jo was born October 17, 1929 in Vera, Texas to George and Savoy Mitchell Feemster. She worked for Tri County Electric as an insurance administration bookkeeper. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, loved cooking and baking. She was the first in her family to go to college. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lowell Ray Jones, siblings, Mary Hatter, Wayne Feemster and Faye Roop. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa O’Dell of Weatherford; grandson, Johnwesley O’Dell and wife Rachel.

Graveside service: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford, Texas 76088. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Monday at Galbreaith Pickard. Memorials: Alzheimer’s Association.
