Mary Lillian Childers

Mary Lillian Watson Childers was born on October 22, 1922  in Van Zandt County, Texas and went to be with our heavenly Father on June, 9, 2012 in Lewisville. Texas.   She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Hattie Watson, her sister Imalene, her brothers Manuel and Edward, and her nephew Jerry Don.

Lillian was a long time resident of Weatherford, Texas and retired from Poolville ISD.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who loved her family.

She was the happiest when she was visiting with her sisters as they laughed about childhood stories.

She loved flowers, gardening, and “working in the yard”.
Lillian is survived by her children, Judy Guthrie, Deborah Davis, and Bryan Childers; Grandchildren, Chris Shaw and wife D'Shay, Todd Davis, Jason Davis and wife  Misti and Kristin Childers; Great-grandchildren, Spencer Shaw, Morgann Davis and Trevor Davis ; Sisters, Zola Sweeting, Juanita Fox, Louise Selman, Maurice Hagle, and Vernell Duvall; Brothers, Dearell Watson and Larry Watson: Sisters-in-law, Patsy Watson Herring, Sherry Watson, and Diane Watson and a great many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Galbreaith
Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until
service time.  Burial will be Poolville Cemetery.
