Mary Eviotte Benson

Mary Eviotte Benson, passed away peacefully at age 85, Sunday, May 1, 2022. Mary was born February 11, 1937, in Weatherford, TX. to Thomas Dawson and Louise Armstrong.

Mary took pride in her occupation; she was a Customer Service Representative for the Fort Worth Star Telegram for 16 years before she retired. She had a servant's heart and shared it often, as she spent many hours volunteering for Harris Texas Health and Texas Health-Willow Park. Mary enjoyed watching baseball and softball, especially her favorite team the Texas Rangers. She truly loved being a "Meemaw" and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member at Calvary Baptist Church where she loved to worship the Lord. Mary adored her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister.

Mary is survived by her children, Carl Cox and Toni Benson, grandchildren, Wesley Cox (Chandra) and Nikki Whitford (Ty), great-grandchildren, Haven, Mason, Oliver, Everly, and Claire.
